| Fred joined HealthWeb Solutions in 2004 as
a principal in the Company with a vision to help build the
enterprise into a national player in the healthcare management
industry. Fred oversees the sales, marketing and business
development activities of the Company and, as a senior financial
executive, is a strong advocate of using web-based technology
to improve the operating efficiencies of healthcare organizations.
Fred’s arrival follows a prosperous twenty-one year
career in the automotive aftermarket with a leading NYSE
company. As a senior executive (Chief Administrative Officer)
for Pep Boys (NYSE: PBY) from 1982 to 2003, responsible for
real estate acquisition and development, legal, marketing,
human resources, business development and other administrative
functions, Fred participated with the senior team in expanding
the regional automotive aftermarket retailer into a national
chain of automotive Supercenters, growing revenues from $553
million to $2.4 billion in 11 years. He developed and executed
a national growth plan in 85 markets that resulted in construction
of over 500 new stores in the United States and Puerto Rico
and directed a $250 million annual capital spending plan.
Fred is a CPA by training, and spent four years with Touche
Ross & Co., CPA’s, Philadelphia, PA (1978 – 1982).
He is a 1978 graduate of Drexel University with a B.S. in
Business Administration. Fred has served on the Board of
Directors of the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association
(AAIA), Council of Better Business Bureaus (CBBB), presently
serves on the Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeastern
Pennsylvania (BBBS SEPA) and is active in several other charitable
organizations. Fred was recognized by the National Italian-American
Political Action Committee (NIA-PAC) for a lifetime achievement
award. |
